balik kampung

we'll balik kampung for raya this year! actually tickets are still "kakuninchu" with some travel agencies but by whatever means we will get the tickets... :-)

i think i'm so sick of japanese food, whenever we eat japanese i can never finish it. so we've kind of stopped eating japanese unless dah takde choice lain. tonight we had dinner at an indian restaurant in kichijoji. it was nice but i still miss kedai mamak in malaysia for roti canai, thosai, chapati, dhal + sambal, teh tarik, etc. and paling best open-air! :-)

can't wait to balik malaysia and makan-makan with family & friends! :-)

work, work, work

i had dinner with a couple of old friends last night but had to leave by 9:30 pm for some !"#$ teleconferencing that ended at 2 am! of all the days and nights, i had to work last night! then practiced for my presentation with imran as my "sensei" until 3 am. today i ate calorie mate for lunch on the train 'coz i had to rush to a seminar. this week's been a mad rush.

i know there are millions of people busier than me e.g. my boss who never sleeps but i'm not the ambitious type at all! i believe there's more to life than work and i've been job-hopping these past years. but now i can't help not worrying about work. i hate waking up early morning sending emails to clients 'coz e.g. i forgot to tell them something. imran also worries about work but he never does his work at home. actually he did once and that was b'coz he needed my help.

we really need to plan for another weekend breakaway. can't wait for the weekend!

to influence or be influenced

i was talking to nor (who's very knowledgeable) about a minister in japan the other day when i realized how imran has become quite a gossipper too. i guess after you've lived with a person for a while, you either influence or be influenced by that person... :-P

tonight i worked late and as usual imran waited for me at the station 'coz he worked late too. we went to a book shop that closes at 5am, then had supper before heading home. i told imran if we had kids, our kids would be 'mati kematun'... :-P

i think my "gambaru" at work is actually imran's influence. anyways, we don't really realize what influence we have on each other 'coz most of the time we make decisions on our own. no approval required... :-P

p.s. i decided to change "baby" to imran 'coz the viewers of our blog have become so varied. imran suggested i change the title to "coy & imran & bebe" but nah, i have to reject it... :-P
